Our Story
From the Jobsite to creating software solutions
RenovationRoute was born out of frustration, but built on optimism the belief that with the right tools, home improvement can be simple and correct.
Early Roots in Construction
Jesse grew up on job sites, working alongside his dad sweeping floors, carrying tools, and installing outlet covers. Those years taught him craftsmanship, grit, and the meaning of hard work.
Shared Frustration, Shared Vision
RenovationRoute began when Jesse experienced the disaster in residential construction. Homeowners struggled to find reliable contractors and contractors not given the right tools. He knew there had to be a better way.
The Turning Point
While earning his master degrees and buying a house, he experienced every challenge firsthand. Without the time to remodel due to time constraints he soon found out about unreliable bids, unclear timelines, and endless back and forth. Later, while contracting on the side, he saw the same chaos from the other side: chasing payments and managing misaligned expectations.
Building the Solution
Combining their field experience and technical backgrounds, Jesse began building RenovationRoute, a transparent platform that bridges the gap between homeowners and contractors.
